What I Wore on Holiday

Hello!

As you might know, I recently visited St Ives with my mum for a week long break away. We had a really lovely time - went for walks on the beach, did a little shopping, had toooo many sweet treats and just had a lot of fun!

In August last year I went to France for a holiday and took photos of my outfits each day, so I thought I'd do the same thing on this holiday. I'm really sorry that there aren't any full length photos, the way the room was arranged meant I couldn't take them in the mirror. But you'll still get the idea. Hope you like them!

On this day, I wore Joni Super High Waisted jeans from Topshop, a white long length vest top from H&M and this pretty top from Oasis which has a swan print.

This dress is from New Look and has a daisy print. It looks, for some reason, like I'm wearing thigh high socks in this picture - I'M NOT! It's just my hairbrush on the dressing table at an unfortunate height. I wore this dress with nude tights (granny, haha) and the yellow cardigan featured in the photo below.

Another pair of Joni jeans, this time in the hyper blue shade, with a ditsy print ruffle top from Oasis and a cardigan from Dorothy Perkins. I also had a black H&M vest top underneath.

Same pair of jeans as in the first photo, with another white vest from H&M and a pussy bow blouse from Oasis. The cardigan is from New Look.

Tried a different angle this day, but I don't think it was any better! Dress from New Look with a cardigan from Next. I wore Topshop heavyweight leggings with this.

Finally, Joni jeans from Topshop, a white vest and a pink top from Oasis. I didn't take a photo of the back, but it's really nice - it has gold buttons down where your spine would be.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Favourite Shoes

Hello lovely people!

This post is to show you my favourite shoes, just to give you more of an idea of my style and choice of footwear. I don't spend a fortune on shoes, simply because I can't. I'd love to be able to spend a bit more on them, just so they're better for my feet and last me longer - maybe one day!

Heels first:

These are from New Look and probably cost me about £20. I bought them in December 2012, so unfortunately they won't be available now. I wish I'd got other colours too as they're a good height and fit and look great when you want to dress up. They're also really good to wear with or without tights, so they're very seasonal.

These are also from New Look and I think they were also around £20. They also won't be available now as I bought in March 2012 for my Auntie's wedding. They were perfect because they made me a bit taller for the photos - I'm only 5'3 so I blended in nicely with all the tall people!

These are from Next, again unavailable as I got them for my birthday night out in July 2013. They really were perfect as they weren't too high and I wore them all night (dancing away!) comfortably enough. I think they were £25.

Now, these were a real splurge, definitely a treat. They're Carvela, Kurt Geiger wedges that I bought for £85 in June 2013. I first saw them in 2012 but didn't get them because I felt I couldn't justify it, however having saved up some money second time round, I knew I'd really appreciate them when I saw them in stock again. They ARE available, however they're now £95 so if you fancy a treat... http://www.kurtgeiger.com/kate-tan-leather-41-carvela-kurt-geiger-shoe.html

Flats next:

These sandals are from New Look, around £15, and they saw me right through the summer without completely wearing out, which is great because I love them and this way I can wear them this summer too!

These are another Kurt Geiger pair, but they were muuuuuuuuuuch less expensive, only around £30. This was a silly choice really. I love them, they're so pretty, but they are SO uncomfortable. I really could only wear this out to dinner or something, somewhere I didn't have to walk....at all.

These on the other hand are amazingly comfortable! Another New Look pair, about £12/13 I think, December 2012. They are simple black pumps but with the addition of little studs and spikes - pretty but also a little bit edgy.

These studded sneakers/trainers are from Miss Selfridge, I think they were £20. They're obviously not for sport, haha, but they're good for making a dressy outfit more casual.

And lastly, boots:

Ah, my beloved Mantaray ankle boots! £36 on sale from Debenhams back in December last year. They're so versatile, keep my feet warm and dry and they're very comfortable. Perfection in a boot!

Apologies and French holiday!

Hello everybody!

Firstly, sorry for not posting in months. I've been so busy finishing college and, well, enjoying this beautiful weather. I'll try my hardest to post more, but I can't make too many promises - I'm a busy little thing!

I've just arrived home from a really relaxing holiday in Le Touquet, France.

I went for 6 days and had such a wonderful time. This post is going to be fairly long, but is going to show you some of my outfit of the days and nights, as well as a few of the things I bought while I was out there. Enjoy!

This is the outfit I wore to travel in, minus the leggings I had on in the car. When we got there it was suuuuper hot, so I had to nip into a toilet and take them off (classy lady). The dress is from ASOS.

That night I wore this simple black skater dress from H&M with nude studded sandals from New Look.

The next evening I wore this Aztec print strapless maxi dress which is also from New Look.

It rained on this day so I opted for jeans in the evening, which are from Topshop, along with a peplum vest, cardigan and shoes from New Look.

The weather cleared up really quickly so my next outfit was this cute ditsy print dress from Topshop which is made from 100% organic fabric.

I wore this dress from Next which I dug out of my wardrobe a few days before we left. I hadn't worn it in ages because I got a bit too big for it, but have since slimmed down a little. I'm so happy it fits again!

Then I wore another little ASOS number on our last day.

Here are a few of the purchases I made whilst we were away. I didn't get many bargains because the pound/euro exchange rate is pretty crappy at the moment and it's a very expensive area, but I did pick up some really nice things.

Marc Jacobs is king of perfume! My parents kindly bought me Dot and I got Oh, Lola for myself. I got both because I loved them both so much and couldn't decide! I think they were both around £35 in the duty free shop at the Eurotunnel.

My mum actually found this cute little bag in a boutique we found on a side street in Le Touquet. It was only £10!

Diadermine is a moisturiser I always try to buy when I'm in France. It's really thick and creamy and I like to slather it on at bedtime for a good deep moisturise when I sleep. I thought I'd try the cleanser too - which so far I'm loving. The cleanser was about £5 and the moisturiser was about £8.

I bought this cardigan and dress from Mango. The dress was £25 and the cardigan was £30. I thought they'd be perfect to see me through summer into winter. I did buy another dress but had to take it back because it smelt awful! I was so disappointed, but also embarrassed as I had to work out how to explain the situation in French. I just mumbled something about "maloderant". Oh dear...
